Pricing Worksheets

This page has the following purposes:

  • Create new pricing worksheets

  • List and provide access to existing pricing worksheets

  • Copy pricing worksheets

Refer to the text "Page: Draft Provider Pricing Clauses - Worksheet" to understand the concept "Pricing Worksheet".

Create New Pricing Worksheets

The button "New Worksheet" is used to open an empty instance of the page "Draft Provider Pricing Clauses - Worksheet" in which a new worksheet can be entered and saved.

List and Provide Access to Existing Pricing Worksheets

After searching worksheets they are listed in this page. Their code acts as a hyperlink: when clicked the concerned worksheet is opened.

Alternatively. the button "Recent Worksheets" can be used to quickly access any of the 10 last opened worksheets.

Copy Pricing Worksheets

The copy icon can be clicked to copy the selected worksheet into a new worksheet. A dialog will be opened in which the code and the description of the new worksheet must be entered. When submitted, the worksheet is created using the specified worksheet code and description*. All draft provider pricing clauses (including details) of the selected worksheet are copied into the new worksheet.

(*) This will fail if a worksheet code is provided that is already in use by another worksheet.

In the dialog the following field overrides can be entered:

  • Contract reference

  • Individual provider

  • Organization provider

  • Provider group

  • Start date

If specified, these fields are set as such into each newly created draft provider pricing clause. If left empty in the dialog, the values for those fields are copied from the original draft provider pricing clauses; i.e. they are not overridden. For example, when only the contract reference '12345.2' is specified in the dialog, all newly created draft provider pricing clauses will have that contract reference. All other fields, like e.g. individual provider "Dr. Bob", are copied from the original draft provider pricing clauses.

The following items are not copied to the new worksheet:

  • Last validation: on the new worksheet this field will be empty initially (for worksheet and draft provider pricing clauses).

  • Last build: on the new worksheet this field will be empty initially (for worksheet and draft provider pricing clauses).

  • Validation statuses: all new draft provider pricing clauses are set to validation status 'Unknown'.

  • Build statuses: all new draft provider pricing clauses are set to build status 'New'.

  • Validation messages: validation messages are not copied to the new worksheet.

  • Counters: counters concerning worksheet lines are not copied to the new worksheet.

  • Created from Template/Section/Option: these fields will be empty for all draft provider pricing clauses in the new worksheet, as they were not (literally) created from a pricing template and/or pricing option.
