Accessibility at Oracle Health Insurance

Accessibility

The accessibility determines the extent to which the Product meets the OAG 3.0 standards. The application meets relevant accessibility standards that users with disabilities can use.

The Oracle Health Insurance product has several applications, such as Oracle Health Insurance Value-Based Payments, Claims, Policies, Oracle Health Insurance Authorizations, and Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition.

To ensure full compatibility between these applications, they share a common base. Oracle Health Insurance applications use ADF to render HTML UI content.

Accessibility Modes in ADF

Oracle Health Insurance applications have three accessibility modes to support accessibility.

  • Screen reader mode

  • Large fonts

  • High contrast

To view the accessibility modes:

  • 1. In the Global Area on the screen, click on the Preferences button.

  • 2. In the Preference screen, select the accessibility mode.

Please note that ADF 12.2.1.1.0+ versions render screen reader compatible content in regular mode (not requiring any special screen reader mode). Content is also automatically compatible with zooming (not requiring any special large font mode).

ADF 12.2.1.1 also detects and reacts to OS high contrast mode on the fly, producing content compatible with OS HC mode (not requiring any special ADF high-contrast mode).
