Skins

Use the Skins page to manage skins for all portals (if accessed through the Shared Assets page) or for the current portal (if accessed through the Assets page). More

Skins enable you to define the look and feel of the entire application or a particular portal. More

You can create custom skins and edit them in WebCenter Portal to suit your requirements. You can also download custom skins, edit them in an IDE like Oracle JDeveloper, and upload them back into WebCenter Portal.

Out-of-the-box, WebCenter Portal provides various built-in skins. You cannot modify or download built-in skins, however, you can make a copy of a built-in skin, and then edit the copy.

Only users with the application-level permission Create, Edit, and Delete Skins can manage shared skins. Users with the portal-level permission Create, Edit, and Delete Assets (simple permissions model) or Create, Edit, and Delete Skins (detailed permissions model) can manage portal-level skins.
