Privilege Delegation Configuration (UNIX)
The following procedure is necessary only for target servers running
UNIX based operating systems.
- Log in to the Oracle Enterprise Manager management server as an
administrator. Go to Setup, select Security and then Privilege Delegation.
- For each target you want to monitor, click on the pencil to edit
the configuration.
The target's configuration settings open.
- Select the sudo radio button. Then set the Sudo Command field
to:
path/sudo -E -u %RUNAS%
%COMMAND%
where path is the path to the sudo binary
on the target.
- Click the Update button.
The changes to the target's
configuration are saved.
- Repeat this process for each target you want to monitor.
