The following procedure applies to Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 and 2012 R2.
Before You Begin
To deploy Windows Server 2012 using PXE:
First install Windows Deployment Service (WDS) on a Windows 2012 server
If you have a Sun Storage 6Gb/s RAID REM, you must create a RAID volume (even if only RAID0) through the "Configure Hardware" task on the drive on which you plan on installing the OS. If you don't, the system will not see the drive.
Oracle ILOM web interface: From the Remote Power Control tab, select Reset.
Local server: Press the Power button on the front panel of the server for approximately 1 second to power off the server, and then press the Power button again to power on the server.
The BIOS POST process begins.
The Please Select Boot Device screen appears.
The Boot Agent screen appears.
