This chapter describes the Siebel Incentive Compensation Achievement Containers feature and includes the procedures a compensation administrator would use to create and administer containers, and the procedure an end user would use to review individual attainment.

Using Achievement Containers, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Create aggregate plan rules with multiple filters and configurable simple filters for the achievement containers
  • Create a team (area) plan rule by defining territories on aggregated plan rules
  • Create personal filters and personal team plans for the plan participants
  • Roll up sales achievements through sales hierarchies and accumulate them in the achievement containers, based on the transaction sales team territory and transaction plan date
  • Calculate daily attainment
  • Track achievement containers to transactions
  • Retroactively accumulate achievement containers because of changes to plan rules and plan participants
