Using Status Lookup to Configure Plan Date

By default, Siebel Incentive Compensation has a status lookup feature that is enabled and used to populate the Plan Date field. To use this feature, you use Siebel Tools to configure the user properties (examples of which are shown in Table 45) in the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook Buscomp User Properties.

Table 45.  Example Transaction Workbook Buscomp User Properties
Name of User Property
Value

StatusLookUp 1

Invoiced, Booked

StatusLookUp 2

Billed, Booked

StatusLookUp 3

Booked, Booked

StatusLookUp 4

Paid, Booked

If the order has a status of Invoiced, the status lookup feature scans the Transaction Workbook for the status Booked, and use that Status Date to populate the Plan Date field. If there is no mapping or a Booked transaction cannot be found in the Transaction Workbook, then the current Status Date of the order is used to populate the Plan Date field. If a status is mapped to itself, then the current Status Date for that status will be used.
