Setting up the Server Request Processor for Calculations

Running the calculation engine requires that server processes be run against your data. You must be connected to a Gateway Server and a Siebel Server to run the server processes. For more information on setting up your server, see Siebel Server Administration Guide.

Before running the calculation engine processes, you must verify that the Server Request Processor is running, and the incentive compensation group is enabled. Make sure the parameters are set correctly:

• Server Admin > Server > Server Component Groups

  Incentive Compensation = Online

• Server Admin > Component Groups

  Incentive Compensation = Enabled

• Server Admin > Component Groups > Component Group Components

  ICM Calc Engine = Online
  ICM CalcWkbk Import = Online
  ICM Container Calculation= Online
  ICM Container Recalculation= Online
  ICM Order Import = Online
  ICM Quota Import = Online
  Incentive Compensation Mgr = Online

Your system administrator can help you set these parameters. The status of the Server Request Processor can be found by navigating to Server Administration > Tasks. The Server Request Processor Component has a status of Running.
