Reviewing Compensation Quota Targets (Manager)


Sales Managers review the quota targets assigned to them before rolling down the targets to sales representatives.

To review manager quota targets

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation Quotas > My Quotas.

    The Quotas list appears, showing the quotas that are assigned to the manager.

  2. In the Quotas list, select the quota, and then drill down on the hyperlink in the Name field.

    The Personal Quota Roll Down form appears with the Quota Factor list, as shown in the following figure.

  3. In the Quota Factor list, review the Quota Factors list.

    The factors that were applied by the manager appear in this read-only view.

  4. Click the Quota Spread view tab.

    The Quota Spread list displays the spread across the measure period for the selected quota, as shown in the following figure.

    NOTE:  The spread occurs automatically based on the period and measure period. For this spread to appear, relevant periods must have been predefined in the Application Administration > Periods view. The target amount in this view is actually used for quota attainment calculation after it has been imported by the compensation administrator. This is a read-only view.

After reviewing their own quota targets, managers can spread their targets across their next-level reports, and then apply additional quota factors or manually adjust the initial target amount. These processes are described on the following pages.
