Configuration Options
Name Description Master Data Entry ID The master data entry ID, specified as a valid URI, for example.
urn:epcglobal:epcis:vtype:BusinessLocation:Dock2.Master Data Type The name of the master data type on which this master data entry is based.
If you are on this page because you are editing an existing master data entry, this field is read-only.
If you are on this page because you are creating a new master data entry, this field provides a drop-down list of available master data types. Selecting a new master data type from the drop down list changes the type of the master data entry you are creating. (Notice that the list of attributes listed below the drop down list is updated to show the attributes defined for the new master data type.)
Master Data Type ID The ID of the master data type on which this master data entry is based. This ID is not editable, because it is an attribute of the master data type, not the master data entry.
Last modified time The last time this master data entry was modified.
Display Order The order in which the attributes are listed. This display order was defined for the master data type of which this master data entry is an instance. You cannot change the order here, but you can sort the table based on the predefined sort order.
Name The name of this attribute. This name is defined in the master data type of which this entry is an instance. This field cannot be edited.
Note: The first attribute in this Attributes list is used as the name of the master data entry.
Value The value for this attribute for this master data entry, that is, a descriptive name to identify this attribute of this master data entry. For example the value for "Business Location City" could be "Bangalore." To edit the value of an attribute, click in the cell. An edit field opens so you can make your changes. Press Enter when finished with each cell.
Child Entry Name This section contains a list of master data entries that are children of this entry. For example, the master data entry for "Loading Dock A" may contain child master data entries for "Portal #1," "Portal #2," and "Portal #3." To add a child to this list you must open the appropriate Master Data Entries page and copy the desired master data entries to the clipboard. Then, return to this page and click Paste from Clipboard.
