If you are on this page because you are editing an existing master data entry, this field is read-only.

If you are on this page because you are creating a new master data entry, this field provides a drop-down list of available master data types. Selecting a new master data type from the drop down list changes the type of the master data entry you are creating. (Notice that the list of attributes listed below the drop down list is updated to show the attributes defined for the new master data type.)

Master Data Type ID

The ID of the master data type on which this master data entry is based. This ID is not editable, because it is an attribute of the master data type, not the master data entry.

For example the value for "Business Location City" could be "Bangalore." To edit the value of an attribute, click in the cell. An edit field opens so you can make your changes. Press Enter when finished with each cell.
