Tasks

Before you can begin to generate BEA TUXEDO compatible code for your servers and clients, you need to create an application model. Then, you can validate your application model and generate BEA TUXEDO application files based on the model.

(For more information about using Rational Rose to design a BEA TUXEDO application model, refer to Visual Modeling of TUXEDO Applications.)

This chapter explains how to use the Rose Expert to validate an application model; generate BEA TUXEDO framework classes and make files; export Rose Expert data to the Contract Repository (populate); and how to specify application settings on the Rose Expert that determine how files get generated.
