Navigating Siebel Mobile Applications in Landscape Mode


Siebel Mobile applications work with a variety of mobile and tablet devices. If you are familiar with navigating iPad applications, then you will find that navigating Siebel Mobile applications is similar. The following procedure shows you how to navigate Siebel Mobile applications. This procedure assumes that your mobile device is in landscape mode.

To navigate Siebel Mobile applications in landscape mode

  1. Start the browser on your mobile device.
  2. Enter the URL address for Siebel Mobile applications, and then log in to the application.

    For information, see Logging In to Siebel Mobile Applications. The home page for Siebel Mobile applications appears immediately after logging in, and it is the starting point for using Siebel Mobile applications. The following interface elements are present on the home page:

    • Application banner. The application banner appears along the top of the home page, and it persists for all views.
    • Left pane. The left pane displays list information according to the object that is selected on the application banner.
    • Right pane. The right pane or work area displays the details for the selected record from the list in the left pane.

  3. To navigate away from the current list and record details view, tap another option on the application banner.
