Reinstalling the Chassis Into a Rack
If you are replacing the CMM immediately, remove the CMM. See Remove the CMM.
If you removed the CMM and powered off the chassis, power on the chassis. See Returning the Modular System to Operation.
Ensure that the CMM indicator lights of the CMM on the front panel are on the top of the module and facing you.
Ensure that the CMM engages with the system chassis guidance system.
After you install a CMM in a powered-on system, the CMM automatically begins to initialize. See CMM Reset Sequence.
