The asset management cluster (C) runs the following ATG applications:
ATG Content Administration
ATG Merchandising
ATG Outreach
ATG Campaign Optimizer
These applications are available through the ATG Business Control Center to internal users with the appropriate roles. These users complete tasks such as managing product catalogs, creating promotions, or creating e-mail marketing campaigns. Administrators use the ATG Business Control Center to manage internal and external users, organizations, roles, internal user segments, deployments from the asset management cluster to the customer-facing cluster, and assets.
Depending on your system configuration, the ATG Business Control Center can include links to ATG Search administration.
The asset management cluster uses the default internal scenario server. It can also manage scenarios that are deployed to the customer-facing server by configuring an external individual scenario server.
If the ATG Content Administration asset preview feature is enabled, the cluster includes a repository of Preview users. An external Preview scenario server is required to preview external users.
