At initial introduction, the Sun Server X4-8 supports Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1,
Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2. For up-to-date information about
supported versions of the Microsoft Windows Server, refer to:

In this manual, the term Windows Server 2008 R2 is used to describe all supported
versions of Windows Server 2008, and the term Windows Server 2012 R2 is used to
describe all supported versions of Windows Server 2012.
