Oracle Hardware Management Pack Installation Guide Overview

This guide provides instructions for installing Oracle Hardware Management Pack (HMP).

This documentation applies to servers running the Oracle Solaris 11.1 operating system (OS) and earlier or any other supported OS.

Beginning with Oracle Solaris 11.2, Oracle HMP is an integrated component of the OS and is called Oracle HMP for Oracle Solaris.

On systems with the Oracle Solaris 11.2 OS or later, do not download and use any version of Oracle HMP that is not specifically qualified for the Oracle Solaris 11.2 (and later) OS. For details, see http://www.oracle.com/goto/ohmp/solarisdocs.
On systems with Oracle Solaris 11.1 or earlier, or with any other OX, continue to use Oracle HMP, available as a separate download from http://support.oracle.com.
