Automatic Power Cycle Does Not Work for fwupdate on Sun Server X4-4 and Later Platforms (18866436)

This issue is fixed in Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.3.0.1.

When using a Sun Server X4-4 or later x86 server with ILOM v3.2.10.0 or later firmware, fwupdate cannot perform an automatic power cycle when a power cycle is specified in the firmware metadata.

After you run a fwupdate update command, you will get the following message and the host system will power off:

A PowerCycle was attempted and is not currently supported on this platform. You will need to perform a manual power cycle. Reference your firmware documentation for more information.

You will need to manually power the system back on either locally using the server power button or remotely using the Oracle ILOM power management features.
