Follow the instructions below, on the machine where Oracle Commerce Guided Search with Experience Manager is installed, to remove the EAC applications that support Commerce Store Accelerator and their associated CAS artifacts.

To remove the EAC applications:

To remove the CAS artifacts:

  1. In a UNIX shell or command prompt, change directories to the CAS bin directory, for example:

    cd /usr/local/endeca/CAS/11.2.0/bin

    or

    cd C:\Endeca\CAS\11.2.0\bin

  2. Enter one of the following commands to delete the CSAen-data record store.

  4. To verify that your record stores are deleted, you can optionally use this command:

    On UNIX, enter:

    ./component-manager-cmd.sh list-components

    On Windows, enter:

    component-manager-cmd.bat list-components

You should see the following message, indicating that all three record stores are deleted:

    No components have been provisioned.

  5. Enter one of the following commands to delete the CSAen-last-mile-crawl.

    On UNIX, enter:

    ./cas-cmd.sh deleteCrawl –id CSAen-last-mile-crawl

    On Windows, enter:

    cas-cmd.bat deleteCrawl –id CSAen-last-mile-crawl

  6. Repeat the command in the previous step to delete the remaining CSA artificats, replacing CSAen-last-mile-crawl with one of the following values each time:

  7. To verify that your crawls are deleted, you can optionally use this command:

    On UNIX, enter:

    ./cas-cmd.sh listCrawls

    On Windows, enter:

    cas-cmd.bat listCrawls

If no crawls are listed, you have successfully deleted them all.

  8. Delete the Endeca applications directory (for example, /usr/local/endeca/Apps or C:\Endeca\Apps) from the file system.

At this point, you are ready for a clean Commerce Store Accelerator installation. To do a clean install, begin with the Installing the Oracle Commerce Platform and Commerce Store Accelerator Software section in this guide.
