If your Oracle Commerce Platform installation includes Core Commerce and ATG Content Administration, you can create SEO tags by editing the versioned SEO tag repository in Oracle Commerce Merchandising. This repository is deployed to the staging or production environment when the catalog is deployed. See the for more information.
If your Oracle Commerce Platform installation does not include Core Commerce or ATG Content Administration, you can create SEO tags by editing the non-versioned SEO tag repository directly on the staging or production environment, using the ATG Control Center:
Register the SEO tag repository by adding it to the list of repositories in the
initialRepositories
property of the/atg/registry/ContentRepositories
component. To do this, in<ATG11dir>/home/localconfig/atg/registry
create aContentRepositories.properties
file containing the following:initialRepositories+=/atg/seo/SEORepository
Start up your Oracle Commerce Platform application and the ATG Control Center.
From the navigation menu, select Content > SEORepository.
This takes you to an editor where you can view, create, and modify
SEOTags
items. For example, if you click New Item, the following window opens:Fill in the values and click OK to create the item.
