Create SLB-L2 Server Members

When you add a member as the first member of a group, an SLB-L2 group is created. The following example shows adding active port members to an SLB-L2 group.

1. Add the first active port member to the group.

   SEFOS# configure terminal
   SEFOS(config)# slb l2 1 extreme-ethernet 0/3-5
   SEFOS(config)# end
   

2. Show current SLB-L2 groups and members.

   The following example shows one SLB-L2 group with three active SLB-L2 port members and one standby SLB-L2 port member.

   SEFOS# show slb l2
    
   L2 SLB Group #1:
           Failover Method: Failover to All Ports
   Port Members:
   Port    State     Comments
   ====    =====     ==================
   3       ACTIVE
   4       ACTIVE
   5       ACTIVE
   6       STANDBY
