Editing a User's Attributes

To edit a user's attributes:

  1. Log in to OIM as an administrator.
  2. In Identity Self Service, under Administration, click Users.
  3. Search for the user whose attributes you want to modify.
  4. Select the user in the search results table.
  5. Modify the user with one of the following ways:
    • Click Edit on the toolbar.
    • Select Edit from the Actions menu.
    • Click the user login of the user record that you want to edit and then click Modify User on the toolbar of the User Details page.
  6. In the Modify User page, change the values of the attributes that you want to edit.
  7. Click Submit.

    Note: Changing a user's Organization or User Login can result in provisioning errors that will prevent the user from accessing their account. Oracle recommends that you do not change a user's User Login or Organization.
