Table 16-10 KDS Bump Bar Functions

Function	Description
Arrow up	In list mode, the KDS display moves up to the next line
Arrow down	In list mode, the KDS display moves down to the next line
Arrow left	In chit mode, the KDS display moves one chit at a time to the left
Arrow right	In chit mode, the KDS display moves one chit at a time to the right
Cancel	Exit the transaction
Close	Close the KDS application
Done	Mark an order as complete and remove the chit from the screen
Done Item	Mark an item on the chit as complete
End	Move to the last page of the KDS display
Home	Move to the first page of the KDS display
Mark	Hold an order
Mark Item	Hold an item in an order
Media Viewer	View media files: Related to the items in an order On recipe preparations or other work-related tasks
Minimize	Minimize the KDS application to the toolbar (Microsoft Windows 32-bit displays)
Order Started	Mark an order as started
Order Started First	Mark the first order on the current page as started
Page down	Scroll down the page
Page up	Scroll up the page
Page left	Scroll to the previous page
Page right	Scroll to the next page
Prep Start/Stop	Change an item’s status to start for the Prep Station (only for single item per sub-order chits (SIPS))
Production Summary	View a list of all production items in the kitchen
Pull Order	Pull an order from another KDS Prep Station in the Prep Station’s primary distribution group
Push Order	Push an order to another KDS Prep Station in the revenue center
Recall Last Item	Recall the last order marked as complete and restart the timer
Recall	Recall an order from the 50 orders marked as complete during the last 15 minutes and restart the timer
Recall Item	Recall an item marked as complete
Recall Last Item	Recall the last item marked as complete
Review	Recall an order from the 50 orders marked as complete during the last 15 minutes, without restarting the timer
Review Last	Review the last order marked as complete, without restarting the timer
Summary Condensed	View a consolidated list of active orders for the display station, without condiments
Summary Expanded	View a consolidated list of active orders for the display station, including condiment items
Select Next	Select the next order on the display
Select Previous	Select the previous order on the display
