Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program you can maintain the basic data of the Cash Recycle Parameters , i.e. insert new records, edit and delete the existing ones. You can also display the data on the screen for enquiry only.

If the POS operates with the Glory coin and banknote recycler the following settings are necessary:

A payment type of "CashGuard" has to be set up to communicate with the Glory Cash Infinity System when finalize a receipt.
The environment variable "OSCAR_OPTIONS= CashGuard" must be set up in the oscar.ini file as a precondition to pay with "Cash Guard".
In program Terminal type a Cash Recycle Parameter must be assigned and the option "Glory Cash Infinity System" or "Use DPS Api must be activated.
The URL address fort he communication with the FCC (Front Circle Controller) must be entered in program Terminal -> Add Data in field "Glory Webservice URL.." .

Notes:
Prerequisite for the use of the Glory Cash Recycle system is, that the environment variables OSCAR_OPTIONS=DPS or GloryCa has been set in the file oscar.ini.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:

The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.

Company

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Select the number of the company to which the Cash Recycle. Parameters should be assigned.

Cash Rec. Param.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number to be saved for this Cash Recycle. Parameter in the system.

Any valid unused number can be entered in the Key Field for a new Cash Recycle Parameter. You can find the next new number by pressing field "Clear Mask" to clear the screen. Then press the search key in the toolbar to display all previously registered terminal types.

Name

Permitted input range: max. 20 alphanumeric characters

Enter the name for a terminal in this field. The descriptor wording is arbitrary, but should be meaningful.

Denom no.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99

The number of the Denom table must be entered in this field. This table will hold the values for the change minimum of coin and banknotes for the Glory Cash Infinty System. If one of the coins or banknotes change is below that change minimum value, the warning message "Float entry" will appear on the pos and the operator will be automatically signed off . In that case the Glory Cash Infinity System must be refilled with coins or banknotes before the operator can sign on again..

Glory Cash Infinity System
