The program description deals with the following:
A device of type IMC drawer can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information. The interface and link to a processing unit should be defined and the device-specific operating type set.

Operation of IMC devices assumes that
interface board IMC 70 has been installed for connection of these devices. Up
to 2 drawers can be connected to the IMC interface board..

As with nearly all other programs the following applies here:
Path and name of DLL file for device driver of IMC devices
..\bin\ is the standard setting in the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS directory. The entry in this field should read ../bin/imc1_87.dll.

Note:
Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol for communication of the drawer is required for
error analysis. The details can be found in file "errlog" in
directory work of
the appropriate system unit.
Field with firmly defined selection options
Select A or B for the configuration of drawer connection to the IMC 70 interface board.
The system offers the following:
Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 9
Enter the number of the drawer in this field. The value entered must match up to the value entered under Operator and for the appropriate payment type, i.e. the drawer whose no. is entered in program Operator is selected.
No drawer will be selected if "0" is entered. If several drawers are connected, the drawer with the number entered in program Operator will open after finalisation of a receipt or GC.
