Remarks on program function

The data for the table order can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed.

This program allows the user to set up the table order for the Dynamic table of the head waiter. The arrangement of the tables can be adjusted to the physical table order in the profit center.

The display in the ECR program appears after entry of keyboard event <ENTERHWD> for an operator with status Head waiter.

The tables can be arranged by double clicking button "New table" to add a new table to the plan. A new table is always added under the number 9999 and is marked red.

The user defines the positioning of the table in the plan with the mouse (drag & drop). The appropriate coordinates are stored automatically in fields X offset and Y offset. Then replace number 9999 in field Table by a valid table no..

Remarks on data fields

The following details all options available for update of the basic data.

The following applies to this program:

The entry mask may differ in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the user program. Some data fields may be missing.
Some data fields may have defaults or defined selection options so that they cannot be updated in this program.
The entry mask may contain fields with enforced entries, and in other fields entries may be optional.
If the data record is updated over several pages of entry masks the dialog window is reached by clicking on the appropriate button with <Mouse key 1>.
The procedure is the same if you want to call up another update program from this program.
In some cases you may find the so-called. "Switches" which are either activated or deactivated - depending on the setting - by clicking with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches have a dark top, deactivated switches are lighter.

Company

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the company for which the tables are to be valid.

Branch

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the branch for which the tables are to be valid.

Profit center

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the profit center for which the tables are to be valid.

Table

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the table which is to be linked to a profit center. The number can be selected at will within the framework of the entry range.

Note!

The following applies, independent of whether tables are to be linked to a profit center or station: The table nos. must be unique. Each table no. can only be assigned once in a profit center. Otherwise, for example, a cashier could not be released for certain tables.

X Offset

Entry range permitted: max. 5 digits with max. 2 decimal places

The entry in this field is done automatically by the graphic order of the table in the table plan on the horizontal plane.

Z Offset

Entry range permitted: max. 5 digits with max. 2 decimal places

The entry in this field is done automatically by the graphic order of the table in the table plan on the vertical plane.
