By use of this program, you can maintain the data for a LAN segment (Local Area Network), i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these basic data
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the installation to which this LAN segment is (to be) assigned. The name of the installation will then be displayed on the right. Without this assignment, no LAN segment can be set up.
For a new record, enter a new free number in the Primary Key Fields.
For modifications or deletions, call the data record by entering the numbers in the primary key fields. If you do not know the numbers, you can select the data record via the Search Function.
