Stock Movements in Position

The following program description deals with:


Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program, you can maintain the item positions for movements from another branch, i.e. create new records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.

Basically, the movement in from another branch consists of two parts: the formal data and the concrete item positions of a movement in.

  1. In a first step, the formal data is entered via the update program Stock Movement Branch in to store the data record with a number generated by the system.
  2. In the second step, the missing items are assigned to the stock movement in. This assignment happens via this program.

Just like in almost any other program:


Item

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 14 positions

Enter the number of the stock item. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.


Quantity

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 13, positions, max. 3 decimal digits

Enter the item quantity to be moved in.


Value

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 11 positions, max. 3 decimal digits

Displays the movement value of the entire movement in quantity for this item.


Free Text

Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 40 chars.

You can enter a free descriptive text for the movement in position.


Quantity Unit

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

In this field, you can change the default, i.e.the quantity unit assigned to this item as the stock unit in the update program Item.
