Graphic Section (Section type)

Remarks on program function

The data for the graphic print on receipt or form can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can be displayed.

Remarks on data fields

The following details all options available for update of the basic data.

The following applies to this program:

• The entry mask may differ in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the user program. Some data fields may be missing.
• Some data fields may have defaults or defined selection options so that they cannot be updated in this program.
• The entry mask may contain fields with enforced entries, and in other fields entries may be optional.
• If the data record is updated over several pages of entry masks the dialog window is reached by clicking on the appropriate button with <Mouse key 1>.
• The procedure is the same if you want to call up another update program from this program.
• In some cases you may find the so-called. "Switches" which are either activated or deactivated - depending on the setting - by clicking with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches have a dark top, deactivated switches are lighter.

Print form group

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the print form group for which the section type "Graphic print" is to be updated for a print section.

If a new group is to be programmed, a free no. should be entered in the Key fields.

Changes or deletions are completed after calling up the data record with a number entry in the key fields. If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with the Search function.

Print form

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Number of the print form which is linked to the section type "Graphic print" of a print section.

Print section

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Number of the print section under which the section type "Graphic print" is stored in the database.

Print section name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.

Name of the print section. This is a firmly defined name and marks the print section for a specific printable object.

Condition

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

The number of the linked print condition should be entered in this field as per the section type.

The print conditions define for each section type what is to be printed under which conditions on receipt or form. This can be a simple condition or a complex one with a variety of logical comparison operands.

Print conditions are updated in program Print conditions.

File name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 32 pos.

The path and name of the graphic file (..\bmp\NAME.bmp) which are to be printed on receipt or form are entered in this field.

Factor

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

This field should be given a percentage for the scaling factor which is to apply to the graphic to be printed.

Print position

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999

Enter a value in tenths of millimetres in this field to define the print position.

Alignment

Entry range permitted: numeric 0 - 2

The entries in this field define the alignment for the graphic print on receipt or form.
