The program description deals with the following:
The data for promotions categories can be updated, i.e. created, changed or deleted, with this program. Data which has already been stored can be displayed.
Note:
Various promotions can be compiled into promotion categories (e.g. for
evaluation purposes in reports).
All options available for update of the basic data have been described below.
As with nearly all programs the following also applies here:
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the no. of the company to which the promotion category is to be linked/has been linked. The name of the company is shown on the right-hand side. No branch group can be programmed without this link.
If this no. is not known the data record can be selected via the Search function.
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99
A free no. should be entered here. It must be easy to identify the number. A promotion category can only be linked to a company.
If changes or deletions are necessary the data record is called up from entries in the active key fields. If the number is not known the data record can be selected via the Search function.
Entry range permitted: max. 20 alphanumeric chars..
If a new promotion category is to be programmed the name should be entered here. If changes or deletions are necessary the name is displayed after entry of the promotion category. There are no restrictions for entry of a name.
