Suggested Deletion Customer Position

Remarks on the Program Function
By use of this program, you can maintain the data for customer positions, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already existing data for information purposes.
The customer positions for this suggestion list are created after a click on the button "Create List", in the update program "Suggested Deletion Customer".

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
- The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
- Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
- The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
- If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.
Customer no.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 999999999
Displays the number of the customer who has been found out to be "deleteable" in the database.
In order to be able to delete a customer, you have to create a consolidation customer in the database. The statistical data of the deleted customer are transferred to this consolidation customer before the actual customer deletion is carried out.
Consolidation Customer:
- The consolidation customer must be assigned in the update program Customer Type in the field Consolidation Customer. Via this consolidation customer (one consolidation customer per customer type), the statistical turnover reports can be called after the customer deletion.

Descriptor
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 chars
Displays the customer's name.
Creation date
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Displays the date on which this customer has been stored with the new creation of the data base. In addition, the Creation Date will be displayed in the screen mask of the update program Customer.
Last purchase date
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Displays the date on which the customer has made the last purchase.
Last delivery date
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Displays the date on which the customer has received the last delivery.
Last update date
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Displays the date on which the data for this customer was last updated.
Current balance
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 20 positions, max. 2 decimal digits
Displays the current balance for this customer.
Deleteable
Activated: This customer is
marked as deleteable.
Deactivated: This customer is not marked as deleteable.
With the creation of the customer positions for the suggestion list of deleteable customers, all customers of this list are automatically marked as "deleteable". You can deactivate the option "deleteable" if this customer is not to be deleted.
Note:
Updates of the customer positions are only
possible until you have confirmed the transaction by use of the button
"Execute" in the tool bar of the update program Suggested Deletion Customer.
After the transaction has been confirmed, all "deleteable" customers of this list receive the characterization Ready to be deleted in the update program Customer and can be deleted from the database by use of the report in the menu Report -> Deletion ->Customer Deletion.
