safe, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can
also view already stored data for information purposes.

Safes (max. 99) serve to store
the following money movements of a branch:
In addition to the safe money movements mentioned
above, you can configure the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program in such a way that an automatic Safe Money
Movement is carried out with the declared entry, float booking transaction
and transout on the terminal and operator levels.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the
options available for updating these basic data
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range:
numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company to which this safe is
to be assigned. The name of the company will be displayed on the button on the
right.
If you do not know this number, you can also select
the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range:
numeric, 1 - 99
When creating a new record, enter a free unique
number. You can store a maximum of 99 safes in the database.
For modifications or deletions, call up the data
record by making entries in the primary key fields. If you do not know the
number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range:
alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.
When creating a new record, enter the name of the safe
here.
In cases of modifications or deletions, the name is
displayed directly after the safe number has been entered.
Activated: This safe is used for the automatic
money transaction with the declared entry, transout and float entry.
Deactivated: This safe is not used for the automatic money
transaction with the declared entry, transout and float entry.
Note:
When
this parameter is deactivated, you cannot assign this safe for the automatic
safe money transaction in the update program Terminals -> Add. Data and in
the update program Operator -> Details 2.
