By use of this program you can update the data for the stock type, i.e. insert new records, edit and delete the existing ones. You can also display the data on the screen for enquiry only.
Items kept in a stock location have to be assigned to specific stock types. With this program you can add, change or delete the stock types in the system.
The stock types are defined in a Stock Table and assigned to a branch, a profit center or a check-out. It is then possible to post the items of a specific stock type at the different terminals to different stock locations. By assigning another stock table to a branch, profit center or terminal, it is possible to change the stock location for items of a certain stock type at any time.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company to which the stock type is to be assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99
Enter the number for the stock type. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 20 characters
Enter the name of the stock type, e.g. Beverage, Food, etc.. The description is arbitrary.
