If enableScenarioRestrictionAndPurging
is true
, additional fields appear in the scenario screens and dialog boxes in the ACC for managing scenario instances. The Create New Scenario dialog box includes fields for specifying scenario-level values for the maximum number of instances and for expiration time:
There are two options for specifying scenario-level values:
Accept the global defaults by selecting the “Use above global values” checkbox. The global default values are taken from the
maxInstances
andexpirationTimeInMins
properties of theScenarioManager
component. These properties default to -1, which means there is no limit to the number of instances and no expiration time.Explicitly specify values for the maximum number of instances and the expiration time by deselecting the “Use above global values” checkbox and filling in the appropriate fields. Note that if the checkbox is not selected and no values are explicitly provided, there is no limit to the number of instances and no expiration time.
The ACC screen that lists your scenarios includes columns that indicate their maximum instances values and their expiration times, as well as whether the values were inherited from global settings:
You can modify these settings on an existing scenario by right-clicking it and selecting options from the drop-down menu:
The Edit Maximum Instances and Edit Expiration Time options open dialog boxes for changing the values of these settings.
