The following table identifies the firmware feature enhancements for Oracle ILOM firmware version 4.0.1.x.

Ability to set system-wide DCU failover control on some SPARC systems.
On some SPARC systems such as M8 systems, administrators can choose to suspend system-wide DCU failover control while performing service operations.
New interactive Chassis View web page for SPARC M7 and M8 series systems.
New interactive web page that enables administrators to view and monitor the overall health of chassis components.
Revised Boot Time-Out property values for SPARC systems running SW 9.7.4 or SW 9.8.0
Set time-out intergers between 300 and 3600. The timer is set to disabled (0) by default.
Revised Host Control State Capture property values for SPARC M8 series systems.
When configured, scandump data for fatal or redstate errors can be collected and saved to Oracle ILOM.
SPARC M8 series systems support for Oracle ILOM Remote VNC Console only.
SPARC M8 systems will not support the Oracle ILOM Remote System Console Plus or the configuration properties in Oracle ILOM for KVMS. It will support the Oracle ILOM Remote VNC Console.
Revised labels for TPM mode property values.
On SPARC T8 and M8 series systems, the the configuration labels for TPM mode were revised to Enabled and Disabled.
New Host Management Alert Forwarding configuration property for SPARC systems.
When enabled, events are forwarded to the host system OS and appear as "SC Alert: message" on the host OS console.
