_toupper(3C)

Name

_toupper - transliterate lowercase characters to uppercase

Synopsis

#include <ctype.h>

int _toupper(int c);

Description

The _toupper() macro is equivalent to toupper(3C) except that the argument c must be a lowercase letter.

Return Values

On successful completion, _toupper() returns the uppercase letter corresponding to the argument passed.

Errors

No errors are defined.
