Order creation in Commerce is a factor of many entities. There is no change in the functional flow with respect to this integration. In general, it is expected that the orders created on Commerce would be fulfilled by the Order Management Cloud. However, there are some cases that should be noted as listed here.

Orders created in Commerce Cloud are sent to Order Management Cloud for fulfillment.

Note: Commerce Cloud has a remorse period, during which time orders can be edited. The orders are sent to Order Management Cloud for fulfillment once the remorse period has ended.

The mechanism used to send the orders created on Commerce is webhooks.
