Integration Troubleshooting
Use this section to troubleshoot common errors when integrating Textura with ERP systems.
Supported Adapters and Minimum Adapter Version
Adapters use two hosting models:
- Oracle-Hosted Adapter: Oracle operates and updates the adapter. You do not need to manage its version.
- Customer-Hosted Adapter: The adapter runs in your environment and must meet the minimum version below.
Note: Health-check availability does not confirm that a new ERP adapter is generally available for implementation. Contact your Oracle representative for information about ERP adapter availability.

Textura Integration FAQs
Can I run a connection test manually?
No, Textura runs the connection test automatically every 10 minutes.
What should I do after correcting a connection problem?
Wait for the next automatic connection test. Textura updates the status when the test finishes.
Can you select Connection Status to retry a failed integration job?
No, Connection Status monitors connections; it does not start or retry integration jobs.
Does a connected status mean that every integration job will succeed?
No, it means the latest connection test succeeded. Jobs can still fail because of record data, mappings, permissions, ERP validation, or other job-specific conditions.
Why can I sign in to the ERP when the connection status shows that the connection is down?
The TexturaLink adapter may use a different account, endpoint, database, server, network route, or authentication method from the one you use to sign in interactively.
What does "Unable to connect to adapter service" mean?
The adapter service is not communicating with Textura. The service may have stopped, its host may be unavailable, or a network, proxy, firewall, DNS, or certificate issue may block communication. This message does not confirm that the ERP system is down.
For a customer-hosted adapter, contact your integration or IT administrator to check the adapter service and its connection to Textura. For an Oracle-hosted adapter, contact Textura Support.
Why is Last Connected different from Last Connection Test?
Last Connection Test shows the most recent test attempt. Last Connected shows the most recent successful ERP connection. They differ when recent tests fail.
How much connection history is available?
The Connection Failure Log retains up to 30 days of connection history.
Can I download the Connection Failure Log?
The current Connection Status panel does not offer a log-download action.
What does Present mean in a failure timestamp?
The connection failure had not ended when Textura retrieved the status.
Where can I find help for an error displayed in Connection Status?
For an ERP connection error, open Integration Troubleshooting, select your ERP adapter, and find the exact error message shown in Connection Status.
If you see Unable to connect to adapter service, follow the adapter-service troubleshooting steps for your ERP in this guide.
Who can access Connection Status?
Users with the Manage Interfaces permission who can access Integration Home can view Connection Status when their configured adapter supports it.
