Business campaigns can be targeted to specific groups of users, or user segments. User segments are defined with a set of profile properties. Any user whose profile includes the specified properties is included in the segment.
You can create user segments in two places in the Business Control Center:
Asset interface in the ATG Content Administration area
Personalization > Targeting and Segmentation option
Both options automatically add user segments as assets to the selected project, and are versioned and deployed like other assets. For information on how to create a user segment, refer to the Business Control Center User's Guide.
