Siebel Dealer allows vehicle manufacturers to work with dealers as easily as they work with employees of their own company. Siebel Dealer also helps dealers manage their own operations.

Siebel Insurance is an information management application designed to meet the needs of the insurance industry as they relate to sales, marketing, and customer service for all industries including Automotive.

Insurance functionality:

  • Ability to track Agents, which are represented as persons not organization partners.
  • Billing Account management allows for setting up billing information.
  • Policy Header information is available as standard, without full policy modules.

Vehicles Management

Siebel Automotive leverages the Assets object from the core Siebel applications to create Vehicles.

Vehicles represent specific VIN or License Number identified assets that may be in dealer inventory, may be owned by a Contact, Account or both, and may be related to multiple Contacts, Accounts, and/or Households.

Siebel Automotive provides the ability to track many vehicle specific data elements to enable management such as:

  • Ownership and relationship information.
  • Attribute information.
  • Supply Chain Tracking.
  • Variable information to enable service marketing.

Service Management

A vehicle will have routine maintenance and repair services performed on it during its lifecycle. Siebel Automotive provides the ability to store the complete service history for a vehicle. Service history stores data such as:

  • Detailed description and Type of service.
  • Odometer reading at service.
  • Dealer or service center at which the service was performed.
  • Money spent on labor, parts, and system serviced.

The Dealer service department, a call center agent or the customer can create a service history record. This history is visible to all parties involved in servicing a customer, so that each party knows the history of services performed on vehicle.
