Adobe Analytics integration
Oracle Unity allows you to set up a data connection and import data from Adobe Analytics.
Before you begin
Make sure you have the following parameters before setting up the data connection.
-
SFTP server name: The hostname for the SFTP server, formatted as username@sftpserverhostname.com.
-
Authentication key: Prepare a text file that has the authentication key to access the SFTP server.
-
Oracle Unity only supports private authentication keys in RSA format. You can't upload a public authentication keys.
-
To create an RSA authentication key, learn how to Generate SSH Keys in PEM Format to Connect to a Public or On-Premises sFTP Server from the Using the FTP Adapter with Oracle Integration Help Center.
-
-
Folder name: The path name to the folder on the SFTP server that has the files to import.
-
Decryption key: If the file to import is encrypted, get the key to use when decrypting.
-
Decryption passphrase: If the file to import is encrypted with a passphrase, get the passphrase to use when decrypting.
Review the following to learn more about importing data into Oracle Unity:
Step 1: Create the Secure FTP source
After collecting the information above, follow the steps for creating a Secure FTP source. The source provides all the details needed so that Oracle Unity can run the ingest jobs to import the files.
Step 2: Create the ingest job
Once the source is created and published, follow the steps for creating the ingest job that will run and import the files.
Step 3: Run the ingest job
Run the ingest job from the Data feeds page and monitor the status of the job from the Jobs dashboard.
Step 4: Verify and use data
After the ingest job successfully completes, you can do the following to verify the data:
-
Run the Data warehouse job (and the Identity resolution job if needed) from the Data feeds page.
-
Review the imported data in the Data viewer by viewing data object records.
After verifying the data, you can use the data to create segments.
