User Request Examples
User requests fall into three main categories:
-
Create: Create commands are ideal for quickly creating a model framework that illustrates the allocation waterfall within a model.
See User Request to Create Rule Sets and User Request to Create Rules for examples.
-
Edit: Edit commands assist in doing common bulk edits. For example:
- Adding a common member to many rules (see User Request to a Add Member)
- Replacing a member that has been deleted in many rules
- Generating a filtered list of rules that can then be edited using mass edit functions (see User Request to List Rules)
- Enabling/Disabling many rules
-
Run: Run commands assist in running calculations or performing trace analysis
See User Request to Run a Calculation and Configuring PCM Agent for Specific Tasks for examples.
