Security group settings for SMS
Important: This feature is only available if your organization has purchased SMS services. Please contact your account manager for additional information and pricing.
The following security group options allow you to manage who can access the SMS feature and to what extent they can access it.
Note: There are currently no asset-level permissions for SMS messages. Additionally, there are currently no permissions at the user level.
Security groups
Use security groups to control what aspects of SMS users in this group can access. Navigate to Settings 
> Users > Groups, then click on a security group to edit it.
Interface Access
Assets > SMS: Allows users to access the SMS Design Editor and launch pad.
Settings > Setup > Assets > SMS Setup: Allows users to access the SMS Setup menu option. From the SMS Setup menu option, you can access the View Codes and India DLT Settings menu options.

Action Permissions
Send SMS: Allow a user to send SMS messages to contacts.
Send Transactional SMS to Opted Out Phone Numbers: Allow a user to send transactional SMS messages to phone numbers that have opted out of SMS communications. Learn more.

Asset Creation and Default Asset Permissions
Asset Creation - SMS: This permission allows users in this security group to create SMS messages.
Default Asset Permissions - SMS: This permission allows users in this security group to delete, update, and perform other actions on existing SMS messages.
