Perform actions from Customization section pages

Use a customization’s row-action menu on Menu > Administration > Customization > Fields or Segments to review or manage it. The actions displayed depend on the customization type, its current state, and your permissions.

Before you begin

You need permission for the action you intend to perform. Find the customization as described in Browse, search, filter, and sort existing fields and segments from the Customization section pages.

Perform an action

1. Open Menu > Administration > Customization.

2. Select Fields or Segments.

3. Find the field or segment.

4. Open its row action menu.

5. Select an available action:

   • For a field, available actions can include Details, Edit, Apply to records, or Delete. See Edit an existing custom field, Apply a custom field to a record from the Customization section Fields page, or Delete a custom field.

   • For a segment, available actions can include Details, Edit, Copy, Delete, Set as inactive, or Set as active. See Edit an existing segment, Delete an existing segment, or Set a segment as inactive or active.

The available actions depend on the customization type, its state, and your permissions.
