Analyzing Trends in the Balance Sheet Dashboard
The Balance Sheet Dashboard shows key metrics and trends for Actual and Forecasted values of the balance sheet. The trends are based on the Subsidiary and Currency dimension member that you select. Use this dashboard to analyze balance sheet trend metrics and the assets and liabilities and equity roll-up trends. The dashboard also lets you drill down into asset or liability Accounts to view trends at a detailed level.
This section gives general instructions for using these interactive subforms:

Balance Sheet Trend – Shows the current, debt to equity, debt to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (debt to EBITDA), and return on assets ratio trends for the current and next financial year.
The trends in the Balance Sheet Trend graph are based on the following ratio calculations:

Current Ratio = Total Current Assets / Total Current Liabilities

Debt to Equity = Total Liabilities / Equity

Debt to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) = Total Liabilities / EBITDA

Return on Assets = Net Income / Assets

Assets Roll-up – Shows the total assets trend. The subform lets you drill down to totals by asset type.

Liabilities : Equity Roll-up – Shows the total liabilities and equity trend. The subform lets you drill down to totals by liability type and equity.
To analyze the Balance Sheet's key metrics and trends:
Maximize or refresh each trend graph by clicking the Maximize icon and Refresh icon in each subform

From the Home page, go to Financials > Balance Sheet.

Click Balance Sheet Dashboard at the bottom of the page.

In the Point of View, choose a Version, Subsidiary, and Currency.

Review the trends in each interactive subform for the selected Subsidiary. You can hover over a series line in the graph to see the series name, period (group), and value.

(Optional) To drill down to the individual trend details, click a line in a graph or a specific trend name in the legend.

In the Asset Roll-up subform, drilling into Total Assets shows a breakdown of total assets by total current and fixed assets.

In the Liabilities : Equity Roll-up subform, drilling into Total Liabilities and Equity shows a breakdown of total liabilities and equity by total current liabilities, total long term liabilities, and total equity.
