File Cabinet Browser MCP App

Tool Name

ns_fileCabinet_app

Tool Description

Lets you browse NetSuite File Cabinet folders, search file names, upload files, and send supported file contents to the conversation.

Ask your AI client to open the File Cabinet Browser MCP App. Open folders or search file names to find files. Select one or more files and click Send to Conversation. Opening the app or selecting files doesn't send their contents. Sending file contents doesn't save files to your device.

To open a saved file in your browser, use Open in Browser. Access depends on the file's NetSuite access settings and your browser's NetSuite session.

To upload files, open the destination folder and click Upload Files. Select or drag files into the app and review the selection. Click Upload File or Upload [number] Files.

Each file selected for upload or for sending contents to the conversation must be 10 MB (10,485,760 bytes) or smaller. For other requirements when uploading files, see Upload Requirements and Behavior.
