Installing the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp
The India Localization SuiteTax Engine is a free, managed SuiteApp that is automatically updated when new features and enhancements are added.
Before you install the SuiteApp, you must contact your NetSuite account manager for provisioning the SuiteApp in your NetSuite account.
After the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp is provisioned, you can install it from any of the following pages:

Managing the Localization SuiteApps – To install the SuiteApp from this page, first install the Localization Assistant SuiteApp from the SuiteApp Marketplace. Then, go to Setup > Localization Assistant > Manage Localizations and perform the steps mentioned in Managing the Localization SuiteApps. For information about installing SuiteApps from the SuiteApp Markeplace, see Installing from the SuiteApp Marketplace.

Search & Install Bundles – To install the SuiteApp from this page, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles and perform the following steps.
To install the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp:

Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.

In the Keywords field, enter India Localization SuiteTax Engine.

Click Search.

In the Name column, click the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp link. Following are the SuiteApp details:

Name – India Localization SuiteTax Engine
-
Bundle ID – 400562
-
-
On the Bundle Details page, click Install.

The State, Province, and County information in the address is used to determine the correct place of supply and classification of supply tax for India GST.
Ensure to disable the Allow Free-Form States in Addresses preference before setting up the India GST feature to prevent any errors during tax calculation.
