Installing a Bundle
Some SuiteApp bundles are available on the SuiteApp Marketplace. For more information, see Installing from the SuiteApp Marketplace and SuiteApp Marketplace.
If you are an account administrator or you have the SuiteApp Marketplace permission, you can complete the following steps to install a bundle in your account.
-
Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles, then choose the bundle you want to install.
See Choosing a Bundle to Install for instructions to search for and install the bundle of your choice.
See Bundle Searches Overview for a description of bundle search functionality.
-
Review the Preview Bundle Install Page.
This page lists the bundle objects that will be installed (or, for configuration bundles, the settings that will be copied). Here, you can indicate how to resolve conflicts between bundle objects and target account objects with the same names or script IDs, set installation preferences for some objects, and lock some objects so target account users cannot change them. For details, see Reviewing the Preview Bundle Install Page.
-
When you are ready, click the Install Bundle button to begin the installation process.
For details, see Starting the Bundle Installation Process.
Note:You should review Bundle Installation Notes before you begin the process of installing a bundle.
-
After you have installed a bundle, you may want to complete the following tasks:
Support for bundle installations varies across the different types of NetSuite accounts. See Bundle Support Across Account Types.
When you install a bundle, you become the owner of the bundle and all its related objects.
When you try to install a bundle whose bundle source account is currently inactive, you will receive the following error message:
The bundle <bundle_ID> cannot be installed because the bundle source account <bundle_source_account_ID> has been inactivated. Please contact the bundle owner.
To find out the bundle owner, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles. Then, fill in the bundle ID to the KEYWORDS field and click Search. To identify the bundle owner, see COMPANY NAME in the results table.
