Project Documents Portlet

You can customize your dashboard to include a Project Documents portlet showing the project folders available to you. In version 1.00.3 of the NetSuite Content and Experience SuiteApp, you can switch between different project folders and select a specific project to view files within the corresponding Oracle Content folder. Additionally, only records of projects you are assigned as a resource are available in your Project Documents portlet.

You can perform the following through the Project Documents portlet:

Upload or download your files for a specific project
Create folders inside a project folder
Share links to your files and folders
Add tags for your documents
Add comments on the documents stored in a project folder

Setting Up Your Project Documents Portlet

Depending on the role you are using, you can add the Project Documents portlet in your dashboard as a custom portlet or as a SuiteApp portlet.

To set up your Project Documents custom portlet:

Click Personalize in the upper right corner of your dashboard or use Personalize Dashboard in the Settings portlet.
On the Standard Content tab, click the Custom Portlet icon or drag it onto the dashboard.
In the portlet menu, click Set Up.
In the Source field, select Project Documents.
Click Save.

Your Project Documents portlet is now available in your dashboard.

To set up your Project Documents SuiteApp portlet:

Click Personalize in the upper right corner of your dashboard or use Personalize Dashboard in the Settings portlet.
On the SuiteApps tab, click the Project Documents icon or drag it onto the dashboard.

Your Project Documents portlet is now available in your dashboard.
