Forecast Accuracy Report
The Forecast Accuracy report shows how close each sales team's saved forecast is to the actual amount of sales for a period.
The saved forecast for each rep is shown with the sales for the period. A variance shows for each forecast amount in the % Var column. This variance is calculated by dividing the forecast by the actual sales amount.
You can select different column options in the Column filter at the footer of the report. If you choose Week, the saved forecast from the Forecast Accuracy (Weekly View) field is compared to the actual sales for the period. An administrator can set this at Setup > Sales > Preferences > Sales Preferences.
To view the Forecast Accuracy report:
Go to Forecast > Reports > Forecast Accuracy.
A message appears indicating that your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report indicates the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report does not support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences > Analytics subtab.
