Pipeline by Status Summary Report
The Pipeline by Status Summary report shows the projected and weighted pipeline amounts totaled for each customer status.
The pipeline amounts on this report include open opportunities and estimates with expected close dates within the date range you choose on the report.
The weighted total of an opportunity or estimate is the product of the transaction total and the probability of close.

With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize the report, helping you assess the overall value and health of your sales pipeline, monitor opportunities at each stage, and identify areas that may require immediate attention using clear, actionable insights drawn from the report data.
The generated insights may include:

The total number of open deals

Distribution of opportunities across the following statuses: Qualified, In Discussion, Identified Decision Makers, Proposal, and In Negotiation

A summary of pipeline health, calling out bottlenecks, urgent follow-ups, or stages needing additional focus

Trends or stage changes over time
To generate an insight on the Pipeline by Status Summary report, the Enable Narrative Insights preference must be enabled in the Narrative Insights tab of the AI Preferences page. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.

To view the Pipeline by Status Summary report:
Go to Opportunities > Reports > Pipeline by Status Summary.
A popup message appears to let you know your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report indicates the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report does not support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences. The preference is on the Analytics subtab.
To generate an insight on the Pipeline by Status Summary report:

Filter the report to include only the information you want the insight to reflect.

Click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate the insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
